Royal Troon in Scotland, has hosted numerous tournaments and Opens. The Old Course is settled in the dunes of the Ayshire coast, with breath taking views, and holes demanding of the player skill levels to match it's narrow landing zones. It's 18th green got it's nickname with Tommy Armour's comment that it's easier to hit the ball on a postage stamp.
